The OAC’s Board of Directors is composed of member cardiologists who are nominated by their peers in the profession to serve a one, two or three-year term. Elections for open positions on the Board are held yearly. OAC’s Board Members are leaders in the profession and serve as advocates for patients. The President receives guidance from the Board and OAC members and acts as the spokesperson for the Association on provincial cardiology and health care matters.
