April 9, 2026

A recent community profile by journalist Ron Fanfair explores how Dr. Sherryn Rambihar and her sisters have carried forward the example set by their father, Dr. Vivian Rambihar, through their respective careers in medicine. Dr. Sherryn Rambihar, a cardiologist at Mackenzie Health and faculty member at the University of Toronto, reflects on her path into cardiology, the importance of patient-centred care and the continuing need to address health disparities affecting marginalized communities. The article also highlights the family’s longstanding commitment to community service and health advocacy.
