Expanding Educational Opportunities for Ontario Cardiologists

Building on its 2026 annual conference and ongoing webinar programming, the OAC is developing additional educational opportunities for Ontario cardiologists, including sessions for residents and fellows and practical guidance on navigating physician billing requirements.
August 20, 2026

The Ontario Association of Cardiologists continues to strengthen its educational programming, providing opportunities for cardiologists across the province to stay informed, exchange ideas and connect with colleagues on issues affecting cardiovascular practice.

In April 2026, the OAC held its third annual conference, bringing together cardiologists and other participants for presentations and discussions on topics relevant to contemporary cardiovascular care.

The Association has also continued to develop its webinar programming, offering members timely information on important developments affecting cardiology practice in Ontario.

Looking ahead, the OAC is planning additional educational opportunities, including webinars specifically designed for cardiology residents and fellows as they prepare for the transition to independent practice. These sessions will provide opportunities to learn from experienced colleagues and explore practical aspects of establishing a career in cardiology.

Other planned programming includes a webinar focused on navigating Ontario’s physician billing requirements, including common administrative challenges and practical guidance to support accurate billing and reduce avoidable claim rejections.

Together, these initiatives reflect the OAC’s ongoing commitment to supporting cardiologists at every stage of their careers through education, professional engagement and the sharing of practical information.
