OAC Annual Meeting on September 30

The Ontario Association of Cardiologists’ 2026 Annual Meeting will be held online on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 8:00 p.m.

The OAC executive also serves as the executive of the OMA Section on Cardiology, representing Ontario cardiologists in discussions with the OMA and the Ministry of Health. At the Annual Meeting, members will receive updates on this work and other Association priorities, including:

• Changes affecting cardiology services under the OHIP Schedule of Benefits;
• Proposals to support out-of-hospital diagnostic services;
• Cardiac critical care issues;
• Echocardiography Quality Improvement accreditation;
• Partnerships and benefits for OAC members; and
• Trainee outreach and cardiologist recruitment.

Members will also conduct the formal business of the Association, including receiving the financial statements for the year ended June 30, 2026, and electing directors.

Participation in the Annual Meeting is open to current OAC members. Ontario cardiologists who are not currently members are invited to join the OAC in advance of the meeting. Current members who have not yet renewed for 2026–27 may renew their membership online.
