OAC Sharing St. Michael’s Hospital Cardiology Education
The OAC has begun posting information about St. Michael’s Hospital’s Virtual Echo Rounds and Cardiology Grand Rounds on our Events page.
The Virtual Echo Rounds offer practical teaching on echocardiography, while the Cardiology Grand Rounds cover a broader range of clinical topics, with an emphasis on back-to-basics cardiology. Both are intended to be useful to cardiologists and trainees at different stages of practice.
St. Michael’s Hospital develops and presents the rounds. The OAC is pleased to help bring them to the attention of colleagues across Ontario as part of our interest in accessible, relevant cardiology education.
The next Cardiology Grand Rounds is Monday, September 28, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. ET. Dr. Paul Dorian will discuss a practical approach to syncope; details, including how to request the link to join, are on the OAC Events page.
Virtual Echo Rounds resume Thursday, October 1, from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. ET. We’ll share the topic and joining details when they become available.
Previously published sessions are available on St. Michael’s Hospital’s Virtual Echo Rounds and Cardiology Grand Rounds YouTube channels.
